The Snapchat Planet order follows the real solar system from closest to furthest: 1. Mercury (#1 Best Friend), 2. Venus (#2), 3. Earth (#3), 4. Mars (#4), 5. Jupiter (#5), 6. Saturn (#6), 7. Uranus (#7), and 8. Neptune (#8 Best Friend).
Mercury is the #1 Best Friend on Snapchat. It appears as a reddish-pink planet encircled by 5 glowing red hearts, indicating the highest level of reciprocal snaps and messaging velocity.
The red planet with purple and blue hearts is Mars, which represents your #4 Best Friend. While Mercury is also reddish, Mercury only features 5 red hearts. Mars is distinguished by purple and blue hearts plus stars.
Following updates to improve digital well-being, Snapchat disabled the Friend Solar System badge by default. To make it appear, open Snapchat > tap your Profile icon > select Snapchat+ Membership > and toggle "Solar System" to ON.
